I'm so excited! My sister and I are going to be collaborating on a new blog that's all book reviews! For some reason this REALLY appeals to me! We're starting out with BookSneeze on a suggestion from a good friend, (Thank you!) They send copies of books to any ol' bloggers in return for the commitment that you'll write a review. However, I'm hoping that after we have a few reviews posted and several 'followers' we can ask publishers for advanced copies of books to review- how cool would that be????
So, we need a favor! Please, check out the new blog, For The Love of Books, and 'follow' us! You can always un-follow us later if you find you aren't reading it much. This will really help us get our statistics up to a level where the publishers might throw us a bone or two!

The Shack
I recently read The Shack by Wm. Paul Young.
I really liked the book. I know there's been some controversy, but I think people are just being too literal. It's fiction, people! Get over it! The book brought about some new ideas in my head and he articulated something in ways I've never heard articulated. Some of the pictures he painted have really made me think and have given me new insight. I think most of the people who have objections are spending too much time trying to define God rather than trying to discover God. No matter how smart you are or how many time your read the bible or how great a scholar you are, you'll never be able to define God! He won't fit into any box! We'll never fully understand who and what God is- in some ways, that's what's so great about him!
